Humans of Lagos Episode 65

Humans of Lagos

"Was supposed to leave yesterday, but waited till today.
At the Oshodi park, I bid my friend farewell.
"We will meet again." He assured me.

Though I was not convinced to enter the particular vehicle, yet I did.
I settled in and started to read one of the books on my phone.

At exactly 11:53am, the bus left Oshodi motor park for Ibadan.
The passengers minded their businesses just as I.
The driver was calm, the bus was a relatively new one.

After passing through the Berger junction,  at around 12:45pm, the bus exploded.

Passengers scampered for safety, I left the bus as well, leaving behind my phone and foot wear.

Many properties got sacrificed in that explosion.

I LOST MANY THINGS, BUT I HAVE MYSELF.

I cried so much, sympathizers asked me not to cry, cos I'm a man.
But my eyes cried till it got satisfied. I think I have more of the female hormone in me, 'cos I cried better than all the female passengers.

I LOST MANY THINGS, BUT I HAVE MYSELF.

Nature doesn't understand evil nor good. Maybe this is my unfair share of the new year.

I am the producer, I should be able to recreate all that I LOST."
